Mom, wife, emergency room nurse, and someone who finds peace in the slow, intentional work of handcrafting soap. Every bar I make is a little work of art.

A little about me

A creative soul in a high-stakes world

I work as a registered nurse in the emergency department, where the pace is relentless and the stakes are high. Soapmaking gives me something hard to find in the ER: a quiet, creative outlet where I get to build something beautiful from scratch.

Each batch is a little escape, and I hope it becomes one for you too.

How it started

A holistic life, long before it was trendy

I grew up semi-rural, eating food my mom grew in her garden, running the hills with my brother and dog, and riding horses. That upbringing shaped how I see the world, and I've done my best to give my own kids a similar foundation.

When my children were born, I became even more intentional about ingredients. They inherited my sensitive skin, and someone was always reacting to something. That quiet whisper of an idea to go back to something simpler, to make it myself, started growing.

Buying baby chicks was the gateway drug. It turned into a chicken coop, a garden full of vegetables and medicinal herbs, sourdough bread, a grain mill, a half cow from a local farmer… I just kept searching for more ways to make healthier changes.

The accidental soapmaker

I was looking for beeswax candles. I found my calling.

My original mission was to eliminate fake fragrances and hormone-disrupting chemicals from my home. Then a Soap Queen video popped up. Twenty videos later, I was completely hooked.

I sat down with SoapCalc.net, made my first recipe, and after two careful hours poured my first loaf. I gave away 20 bars. People loved them and asked for more.

Everything I make is rooted in simplicity: healthy, natural ingredients, essential oils inspired by my favorite places and memories, and a genuine belief that what you put on your body matters just as much as what you put in it.

Every bar is mixed, poured, cut, and cured by hand in small batches. No machines, no shortcuts.

Made in Fallbrook, CA, with scents inspired by the region, and botanicals grown in my own garden.
